From 1 October 2022, PCNs are providing additional appointments outside core general practice hours. We are adding more services and appointments over the next few weeks but currently provide the following. All appointments need to be booked via your practice, please ask a member of the team.
NHS Health Checks
The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40 to 74. It’s designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. An NHS Health Check helps find ways to lower this risk.
Phoenix Health PCN is working with FedBucks to provide these checks on a Saturday morning at Cross Keys Practice, Princes Risborough. Anyone registered with Unity Health, Haddenham Medical Centre or Cross Keys Practice can access these checks, please speak to a member of your practice team.
Dressings Clinic
A Health Care Assistant from FedBucks can do certain dressings on a Saturday morning at Cross Keys Practice, Princes Risborough. Your GP practice nurse will be able to arrange this if it is suitable for your need. Your practice will supply the dressing and you will need to bring this to your appointment.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists offer telephone consultations on weekday evenings and face to face appointments at Cross Keys Practice, Princes Risborough on a Saturday morning. Your GP will refer you to the physiotherapy services if appropriate.
